What is it

GetDraft is a collaborative AI writing app launched in November 2025 by Dedao / Sihui Zaowu (Hong Kong) Limited. Instead of a single one-shot generator, it ships as a "writing team" of five named AI specialists — Alex (Lead Writer), Sam (Speed Writer), Blake (Editor), Maya (Researcher), and Olivia (Style Analyst) — each owning a stage of the workflow while the user acts as the editor-in-chief making the calls.

What it can do

Build a personal writing profile by uploading sample work; brainstorm angles, structures, and outlines with the Lead Writer; commission deep research reports backed by the Dedao knowledge base (100K+ ebooks, 4,000+ audiobooks, 400+ courses) plus open-web sources; generate fast drafts in Speed Mode or run the multi-step Inspiration Mode that walks through research, outline, section-by-section drafting, editor review, and revision; rewrite, expand, and polish content in the user's own captured voice.

Who is it for

Solo creators producing long-form articles for WeChat public accounts, blogs, newsletters, and course scripts; teams that want consistent house-voice writing across members; founders and professionals who need research-grounded thought leadership without losing their own thinking and style in the process.

Key Features

Writing Team of Five AI Specialists

GetDraft splits the writing workflow across five named experts: Alex (Lead Writer, structure & process), Sam (Speed Writer, fast drafts and rewriting), Blake (Editor, quality and consistency review), Maya (Researcher, source verification and data-driven content), and Olivia (Style Analyst, sample analysis and profile refinement). The user "conducts" the team and stays in control of every key decision, instead of accepting a single black-box output.

Personal Writing Profile – style learned from your samples

Olivia analyzes the user's uploaded writing samples across six dimensions — style overview, creative methodology, thinking core, expression features, creative habits, and unique signatures — to build a personal writing profile. Later drafting and rewriting use this profile so generated content matches not just the surface phrasing but the user's reasoning paths and value judgments.

Inspiration Mode – end-to-end collaborative workflow

Inspiration Mode (启发模式) is the recommended deep workflow: Alex discusses angle and structure with the user, calls Maya for research when needed, drafts section-by-section while checking with the user at each step, and hands the result to Blake for review and revision suggestions. Designed for long, original pieces such as long-form articles, public-account posts, and course scripts.

Speed Mode – fast drafts and rewriting

Speed Mode (速写模式) is the lightweight path: feed in a topic or outline and Sam produces a complete first draft fast, suited to standardized content like product blurbs, campaign copy, and rewrites where the user already has clear source material.

Use Cases

Long-form articles in your own voice

Train a personal profile from past articles, then use Inspiration Mode to ship long-form pieces (industry deep-dives, opinion essays, founder updates) that read as the user, not as generic AI.

WeChat public-account and blog posts

Frequent public-account writers use Inspiration Mode to co-draft posts on schedule while keeping the column's signature voice, structure, and case-study style across episodes.

Course scripts and educational content

Course creators and educators draft long script content with Maya pulling from the Dedao knowledge base, and Blake reviewing for logical flow and consistency.

Newsletter writers needing weekly cadence

Independent newsletter authors use a saved profile + Speed Mode to convert weekly notes into newsletter drafts that match their established voice and pace.
